We are in the process of establishing the Gray Impact Foundation as the non-profit arm focusing on the scalability of local organizations.
We know local organizations are the unsung heroes of international humanitarian assistance and development. In Syria for example, 75% of the assistance provided was done by local Syrian organizations, however these groups only received .3% of the global aid budget for the crisis.
Under the guise of the Grand Bargain, we are not here to shift the budgets. We are here to champion their collective importance, and to identify their individual scalability. We offer local organizations our expertise to build the capacity of their international networking and partnerships, project management skills, and systems engineering support wherever and whenever they request it.
